Changes in the Management Board of Selena Group. Sławomir Majchrowski becomes new CEO.

The Supervisory Board of Selena FM S.A. has appointed Sławomir Majchrowski as the CEO (Management Board President) of Selena Group effective from July 1, 2023. Prior to the appointment, he has served as Chief Commercial Officer (Vice President of the Management Board) since January 2021. In addition, Michał Specjalski, Head of the Windows & Doors Division, has been appointed as the Chief Product & Innovation Officer and member of the management board, also effective from July 1, 2023.

Sławomir Majchrowski joined Selena FM in January 2020, originally as Head of the Interior & Decoration Division. He was responsible for the company’s strategy and implementation of business goals in the area of end user solutions in all markets of Selena’s operations. In January 2021, he became Chief Commercial Officer – Vice President of the Management Board.

As the new CEO, he will be responsible for executing the Group's strategy, increasing its efficiency and continued development of its franchise in foreign markets.

We have exciting development prospects ahead of us, but at the same time we are facing highly competitive market and a demanding business environment. Sławomir Majchrowski is a graduate of the Faculty of Chemistry at the Wrocław University of Technology. He also completed post-graduate studies in Marketing and Management at the University of Economics in Wrocław and a number of management and strategy courses at ICAN, INSEAD or IMD. Prior to joining Selena Group, he worked with such companies as Polifarb Cieszyn Wrocław and PPG. At the former, he was one of the key people working on the development of the Dekoral brand. Then at PPG he developed and implemented a strategy for increasing cost effectiveness, made the necessary investments and introduced restructuring measures. He also cooperated in creating an innovation map and common marketing concepts for the markets of Western and Central Europe.

Michał Specjalski joined the Group in 2015. He started his career as Marketing Director. He co-created the company's new strategy, and in 2019 became Head of the Interior & Decoration Division. Since 2020, as Head of the Windows & Doors Division, he has focused on the strategy of business development, sales and marketing in the segment of solutions for the window and door installation and sealing.

The establishment of an innovation and product development role at the management board level means strengthening Selena's approach to creating products, solutions and innovations in response to the needs of and in cooperation with users. I’m very happy to be given the opportunity to execute our strategy in this area. One of my priorities will be to increase market shares in key product categories, improve cost competitiveness and develop products to increase the energy efficiency of buildings

Specjaski graduated from the Kozminski University in Warsaw, where he studied Management and Marketing with a specialization in Human Resources Management. He also completed postgraduate studies in Project Management at the Warsaw School of Economics, majoring in Project Management, and earned an MBA title from the Warsaw University of Technology Business School. In 2022, he completed agricultural studies at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences for graduates of non-agricultural universities. He gained his professional experience in such organizations as: ITOCHU Corporation, 3M and HILTI. He has extensive skills backed by more than 20 years of experience in an international business environment in such areas as strategy, sales and marketing management, change management and the management of culturally diverse teams.
