Selena FM receives platinum award in the “ESG Innovator 2023” competition. The company has been recognized in category E – Innovation in the environment area – for its innovative approach in designing a single-component polyurethane foam for energy-efficient insulation of doors and windows. Organized by the Polish ESG Association, the competition promotes the best ESG practices.
As Selena Group, we have been taking active steps to support ESG-related values for many years now. We are a manufacturer of construction chemicals and environmental issues are extremely important to us. The award in the “ESG Innovator 2023” competition confirms the importance of investing in solutions that respond to the challenges related to the decarbonization of the construction industry by 2050. The platinum award is a recognition for the entire team that developed the unique and groundbreaking formulation of the Tytan Professional® Low-Ex Green foam product. Introducing that foam to the market is consistent with the pillars of Selena Group's sustainable development strategy IFEEC, notably in the area of Climate, where one of the values is specifically to reduce the carbon footprint of products. In addition to marketing products based on raw materials stemming from renewable sources, including bio-based feedstock, Selena Group also produces foam adhesives, which are also characterized by a reduced carbon footprint of up to 44% and significantly help lower the carbon footprint during transport. They also reduce water and electricity consumption during construction itself
